Lauren Bosse will continue her lacrosse career as a Nittany Lion following her graduation from Towson (Md.) High School in 2012. A three-year starter for the Generals on defense, she was a Towson Times All-Star Lacrosse Team honorable mention selection in 2011. Bosse was also a member of the Baltimore Girls Underclassmen Team at the Under Armour All-America Games. Also an accomplished volleyball player, she was a four-year starting middle hitter at THS and has participated at the club level for eight years.

ESPN listed Bosse as the nation's No. 20 defender and positioned her at No. 97 in its 2011 top 100 player rankings.

Bosse has played club lacrosse with SkyWalkers in Baltimore for seven years, currently under head coach Michael McLaughlin.

Lauren Wharton Bosse was born on June 24, 1994 in Towson, Md. to parents Paul and Patty...Has a younger brother, A.J....Her father, Paul, played men's volleyball at George Mason (1983-85), advancing to two Final Fours...Hobbies include beach volleyball, soccer, art, and music...Came to Penn State because "I love the atmosphere at Penn State. I really wanted to go to a big sports school and the academics are great at Penn State as well."
