UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's gymnastics team is back on the road this weekend when the Nittany Lions travel to Ann Arbor for a Big Ten matchup with defending national champion Michigan on Sunday.
The meet will be broadcast live on ESPN2 with Bart Conner, Kathy Johnson Clarke and Samantha Peszek on the call beginning at 6 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
This will mark the 26th matchup between the Nittany Lions and Wolverines. Since their first matchup in 1988, Michigan holds a 18-7 advantage in the series.
A LOOK BACK AT IOWA
The Penn State women's gymnastics team (3-3) to Big Ten foe Iowa 196.125-195.325 in Iowa City last weekend.
The day started on bars, where the Nittany Lions posted their best event score of the day with a 49.200. Freshman Nikki Beckwith earned her first event victory with a career high 9.900 score.
Fellow freshman Jessica Johanson led the Nittany Lions on vault with a personal best 9.850 as Penn State recorded a 48.950 on the apparatus.
Lauren Bridgens posted her second 39+ all-around score of the season with a 39.300 on the day.
Racking Up the 9.9s
The Nittany Lions have added eight additions to their 9.9 wall, with Alissa Bonsall, Lauren Bridgens and Isabella Salcedo recording scores of 9.9+ twice each this season. Kourtney Chinnery set a career high of 9.900 on vault against Illinois and Nikki Beckwith added her first 9.9 score on bars at Iowa.
NEW FACES
Penn State added eight athletes to the roster for the 2022 season. Isabella Salcedo and Elina Vihrova were named Big Ten Gymnasts to Watch ahead of their first meet as Nittany Lions. The duo is among seven gymnasts in Penn State's freshman class. Penn State also welcomed sophomore Sarah Duhe, a transfer from the University of Alabama.
