UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men’s gymnastics team announces its 2025 competition schedule, including five home meets in Rec Hall.
The Nittany Lions will kick off the campaign at the West Point Open on Friday, January 10 through Saturday, January 11 in West Point, New York. The competition is a multi-team meet that the Blue and White has competed at annually since the 2022 season. Last season, Penn State took on Army, Navy, Springfield, Temple, and William and Mary at the 2024 version of the open, where the team placed first with a final score of 401.300.
PSU opens the home campaign with a three-home stand, first kicking things off against Army on Saturday, January 18 at 1 p.m., followed by William & Mary on Saturday, January 25 at 4 p.m. The first Big Ten action starts when Michigan comes to town on Saturday, February 9 at 4 p.m. The Nittany Lions will look to avenge last season’s loss to the Wolverines.
The first true-road test for Penn State comes on Sunday, February 9 when the team travels to Columbus, Ohio to face Ohio State before taking a week-long break. Upon returning to action, qualifying members of the Blue and White will compete at the 2025 USA Gymnastics Winter Cup, with a chance to make the U.S. Men’s Senior National Team on the line. The event will be hosted in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, February 21 and Sunday, February 23.
The Nittany Lions get back to team competition on Saturday, March 1 when they host Stanford at Rec Hall at 4 p.m. A road trip to Champaign, Illinois follows on Saturday, March 8 to take on the Fighting Illini before the team rounds out the regular season with a home meet against Nebraska on Sunday, March 16 at 3:30 p.m.
Penn State closes out the 2025 season with the Big Ten Championships on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 and the NCAA Championships on Friday April 18 and Saturday, April 19. Both events will be held in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
