UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State Men’s Ice Hockey team unveiled a new sweater ahead of the Frozen Confines: Big Ten Hockey Series at Wrigley Field on January 3, 2025. The Nittany Lions will battle the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a conference clash at the historic venue to open their second half slate, with puck drop slated for 8:30 p.m. EST in Chicago.
The sweaters are a nod to Wrigley Field’s main tenant, the Chicago Cubs, along with Penn State’s own baseball team, and feature subtle, baseball-themed touches with a Hockey Valley spin to embrace the history of one of the most iconic and storied teams and venues in Major League Baseball.
