Awards: Named to the B1G All-Tournament Team…Named to the Allentown Regional All-Tournament Team.
Season: Skated in all 40 games…Finished third on the team with 33 points on 14 goals and 19 assists…Ranked third in the Big Ten and seventh nationally in freshman scoring while his 14 goals were the second-most among rookies in the B1G and tied for fourth nationally…Had eight multi-point games…Registered five powerplay goals, a mark good for eighth nationally among freshman…His 33 points rank as the fifth-most by a Nittany Lion rookie all-time while his assist and goal totals are tied for third and seventh by a Penn State freshman.
at Alaska (10/5): Scored his first career goal and and added an assist on the overtime winner in a 4-3 opening night victory. St. Lawrence (10/25): Tallied one assist in series sweep. Wisconsin (11/15): Collected one assist in an overtime loss. Michigan (11/22-23): Had an assist in game one before scoring a goal in game two. Colgate (11/26-27): Registered one assist in the opening game before tallying three points on one goal and two assists the following night to complete a series sweep. at Ohio State (12/6): Recorded one assist in a 4-2 loss. Canisius (1/18): Collected a pair of assists in a 3-2 win to complete a series sweep. Ohio State (1/24-25): Scored once while adding an assist in a 6-6 tie in game one before registering one assist in a 3-2 overtime win the next night. at Michigan (1/31): Scored the eventual game-winning goal late in the third period of a 5-4 win. at Michigan (2/1): Tallied a pair of assists in a loss. at Michigan State (2/22): Scored a goal in a 3-2 win over the No. 1 team in the nation. Minnesota (2/28): Had one goal in a 4-3 overtime win. Minnesota (3/1): Assisted on each goal in a 5-3 loss. at Michigan (3/7): Registered a career-best four points including the overtime game-winning goal while securing his first career hat-trick and Penn State’s first-ever postseason hat-trick…Landed the No. 1 play of the night on Sportscenter. at Michigan (3/8): Recorded one goal in a 5-2 win to complete the series sweep in the B1G quarterfinals. at Ohio State (3/15): Scored once in a overtime loss in the B1G semifinals. vs. Maine (3/28): Had one goal and one assist in a 5-1 rout of the top-seeded Black Bears. vs. UConn (3/30): Registered one goal in a 3-2 overtime victory punching Penn State’s ticket to its first-ever Frozen Four…Had a season long five-game goal streak in postseason play.
BEFORE PENN STATE
Played two seasons in the USHL with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and most recently the Sioux Falls Stampede following a late season trade in 2022-23…Paced the Stampede this past season with 63 points and 29 goals while tying for the team lead with 34 assists…His 63 points were tied for 15th in the USHL while his 29 goals were good for 12th…Tallied 34 goals and 54 assists for 88 points in 118 career USHL games…Prior to the the USHL, played primarily for Edgewood High School in Madison, Wisconsin where he tallied 88 points on 39 goals and 49 assists in 23 regular season games as a senior leading the Crusaders to the 2021-22 Badger Conference Championship…Added 13 additional points (5G, 8A) in five playoff games…Ranks third all-time in Edgewood Hockey history with 194 points on 85 goals and 109 assists while his 2.73 points per game average is the highest mark in school history.
