Who Should Attend
The Penn State Diving Day Camps are open to students entering grades 5-12 (ages 10-19) next fall. Divers of any experience level and those who want an introduction to the sport are welcome.
Diving Day Camp

Grades 5-12 (Ages 10-19)
The Penn State Diving Day Camp participants engage in an intensive daily routine consisting of two (each two-hour) workouts and two ninety-minute dryland workouts. These include springboard, tower, and dryland sessions. Emphasis is on proper stretching, physical conditioning, springboard and platform mechanics and developing a healthy perspective on the competitive nature of the sport. Platform diving is introduced to all campers. Those who are qualified to train in the event will be able to work at their comfort level.
Features of Diving Day Camp:
- Springboard, tower, and dryland technique.
- Tower will be part of the rotation of workouts (weather permitting)
- Water belts
- Spotting belt work on dry board and trampoline
Fee:
$515 day camper per camp (includes instruction, 3 lunches, camp shirt, no housing)
Meals: Lunch will be provided on full camp days. Bring a water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.
Facilities - Penn State offers some of the most comprehensive instruction in the East, with eight diving boards, all on Durafirm stands; 1-, 3-, 5-, 7 1/2- and 10-meter towers, a porta-pit, tumbling area and video equipment. Our indoor complex includes a separate 42- by 42-foot diving well, two 3-meter diving boards and two 1-meter diving boards. The outdoor facility includes two 3-meter diving boards, two 1-meter diving boards and 1-, 3-, 5-, 7 1/2- and 10-meter towers. It is a facility that must be seen and experienced!
