The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

Online registration ends 2 days prior to the first day of camp, unless the camp is full.

Nittany Lion 10.0 Camp
June 27-29
Grades 2-12 (USAG Level 1 – 8, Xcel, JOGA, AAU and recreational program members, preferred)
 
The Nittany Lion 10.0 Camp is open to gymnasts entering grades 2-12 next fall. Gymnasts training USAG levels 1-8,  Xcel, JOGA, AAU, and recreational program members are welcome to attend. This is a day camp only.  Housing will not be available.

The Nittany Lion 10.0 Camp is designed to provide a full gymnastic experience at Penn State. Emphasis is placed on skill development in all four Olympic events (vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise), the trampoline and dance. Campers will have the opportunity to learn from current members of the Penn State Men's and Women's Gymnastics programs. Training is enhanced using our new trampoline stations to teach air awareness and drills. Campers will have an excellent opportunity to showcase their abilities and be permitted open gym training time to focus on a specific skill or event of their choice.  Campers will have exclusive use of our updated state-of-the-art training facility, fully equipped with AAI and Mancino equipment, foam and Resi-Pits, Tumble Trak, rod floor and much more.  Come improve your skills and work with the best staff and student-athletes in the country!

Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Fee: $550 per camper (includes instruction, camp shirt)
 ***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING

 
Meal: Bring your own lunch and personal water bottle to refill during camp.


Nittany Lion Performance Camp
July 18-20
Grades 6-12 (USAG Level 8-10 and Elite preferred)

The Nittany Lion Performance Camp is open to gymnasts entering grades 6-12 next fall.  Gymnasts training levels USAG 8-10 and Elite are preferred. This is a day camp only. Housing will not be available.

This competitive day camp is specifically designed for more advanced gymnasts who are interested in elevating their skills in preparation for collegiate gymnastics. Campers will have exclusive use of our updated state-of-the-art training facility, fully equipped with AAI and Mancino equipment, foam and Resi-Pits, Tumble Trak, rod floor and much more.

Under the direction of Head Coach Sarah Brown and the entire Penn State gymnastics staff, the focus of the Performance Camp is placed on the four Olympic events (vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise), the trampoline and dance.  Campers will have the opportunity to learn from current members of the Penn State Men's and Women's Gymnastics programs.  Campers will have an excellent opportunity to showcase their abilities and be permitted open gym training time to focus on a specific skill or event of their choice.  Come improve your skills and work with the best staff and student-athletes in the country!

Training Facility

Nearly $2 million dollars in renovations to the White Building gymnastics gym have made the camp facility second-to-none. The gym features new AAI elite series equipment, in-ground loose foam pits, in-ground resi-pits, AAI 20 cm landing mats, three vaulting stations, four bar stations, four tumbling stations onto a variety of landing surfaces, an in-ground trampoline with overhead spotting and a loose foam pit landing area. In addition to a full complement of sting mats, four-inch throw mats and eight-inch skill cushions for every event, the new team room features a 51-inch screen television and leather furniture. There is also a dance room with wall-to-wall mirrors and a special dance floor.
