The main priority of our sport camp programs is the health, safety and well-being of our participants, student-athletes, coaches, and staff. 

All potential applicants to our youth residential programs are encouraged to regularly check our updated information and expectations, which may be subject to change.

The Participant Form must be completed online two weeks prior to the first day of camp.

8 Star Camp
June 11
Grades 8-12, girls
 
The 8 Star Camp is a competitive camp designed for players who are looking to play volleyball at the next level. The camp will provide players with position specific instruction as well as team systems and high-level competition. Organized like a college practice, this camp is instructed by our Penn State volleyball coaches in historic Rec Hall. Camp will include training in all skills (serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and digging), 6v6 play, and the use of cutting-edge video breakdown during sessions. This camp will give you a complete experience that you will remember! The camp will run from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

If you have a dream to be a Nittany Lion and earn your own STAR at Penn State, this camp is FOR YOU!
 
Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
 
Fee: $150 (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING
 
Meal: Bring your own lunch/snacks and a water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.
 
Where: Recreation Hall, Main Gym

Recreation Hall (Rec Hall) is located on the corner of Burrowes & Curtin Roads.
 


 

All Skills Camp
July 6
Grades 7-12, girls

The All Skills Camp is designed to provide players with the opportunity to learn volleyball skills in a relaxed and fun environment. The Penn State coaching staff, along with current Penn State women's players, will teach the campers volleyball fundamentals, skills, footwork, exercises, and games. Campers are grouped according to age, ability, experience, maturity, and competitive spirit. Also, because this camp features an excellent coach-to-camper ratio, campers receive supervision, encouragement, and excellent instruction. Camp runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Learn and have fun playing with Penn State Women's Volleyball!
 
Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
 
Fee: $215 (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)

Meal: Bring your own lunch/snacks and a water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.
 


Competition Day Camps
July 7 or July 14
Grades 7-12, girls

 

The Competition Day Camp is designed for advanced middle school and high school players who want an elite experience while improving their individual skills and competing against the best in the country. The camp will include instruction on all skills (passing, attacking, blocking, individual defense, etc.); however, most of the camp will be spent competing in various drills and modified tournament style play.   This camp features more competition play.  Camp runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

 

Fee: $215 per camp (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING
 
Meal: Bring your own lunch/snacks and a water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.

 


 

Position Day Camp
July 13
Grades 7-12, girls

 

The Position Day Camp will train campers in their desired position. The first half of the camp will be dedicated to training your specific position and learning new techniques. The remainder of the camp will be spent combining all positions to play wash drills (4v4, 5v5 and 6v6). All campers will receive training on various serving techniques. Campers will be grouped according to age and experience. Camp runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 

Enrollment is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
 
Fee: $215 (includes instruction, camp shirt, no housing)
***DAY CAMP ONLY/NO HOUSING
 
Meal: Bring your own lunch/snacks and a water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.

 


 

Elite Camp : July 15-16
Grades 7-12, girls

2026 - DAY CAMPERS
 
Day campers will participate in each camp session. They will check in at 8:45 a.m. Day campers will eat lunch & dinner on Day 1 and lunch on Day 2 in the dining hall. Breakfast is not provided.


Fees:

$400 resident camper (includes instruction, housing, meals, camp shirt)
$350 day camper (includes instruction, 2 lunches & 1 dinner (breakfast not provided), camp shirt, no housing)

Meals: 

Resident camper: Lunch on the first day to lunch on the last day
Day Camper:  Lunch & dinner on Day 1 and lunch on Day 2 (breakfast not provided)


Bring your own water bottle to refill during camp. Gatorade & water will be provided.

What to Bring for Camp
Campers should bring their own appropriate volleyball gear and shoes/sneakers. Also, campers should bring a water bottle to refill during camp.
