High School: Regis Jesuit
Club Team: Team 180

Emi Smith comes to Happy Valley from the Rocky Mountains where she has been a four-year starter at goalkeeper and attack for Regis Jesuit High School in Denver. An excellent athlete, she also played three years of rugby, earning all-state honors as a sophomore.

Smith competed at the club level with Team 180 under head coach Sam Bartron.

Emily "Emi" Victoria Smith was born on August 2, 1994 in Fairfax, Va. to parents Robert and Victoria...Has an older brother, Drew, and a younger brother, William...Plans to major in occupational, speech, and physical therapy and work with autistic children...Also has aspirations of becoming a lacrosse coach...Enjoys art as a hobby...Selected to attend Penn State because "I loved the atmosphere when I visited. The lacrosse team and coaches were so welcoming and loving and I wanted to be a part of it."
