Madison Cyr will join her sister, Mackenzie, at Penn State in 2012, giving the Nittany Lions a third set of sisters on the roster. Cyr is a standout attacking player for Winters Mill High School in her hometown of Westminster, Md. In 2011, she scored 55 goals and notched 21 assists, earning first team all-county and all-conference accolades in addition to US Lacrosse honorable mention recognition, as the Falcons went 15-3. In her sophomore season, Cyr helped WHS capture county, conference, and regional titles en route to a state championship.
In ESPN's 2011 top high school girls rankings, Cyr was rated as the No. 22 attacker in the nation and as the No. 80 player overall.
A member of the Check-Hers Elite club, Cyr won a US Lacrosse U-15 National Championship in 2009, earning all-tournament honors. She also played on the Maximum Exposure All-Star team.
