Nittany Lions Arrive in Florida for TaxSlayer Bowl

FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. ââ'¬" Sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80s greeted the Nittany Lion football travel party when it arrived in Florida on Monday afternoon.

Penn State boarded a United Airlines Boeing 747-400 in Harrisburg to begin game week for the TaxSlayer Bowl. Amelia Island will be the team's home for the days leading up to the program's 46th bowl game. Penn State will begin on-field prep for the matchup against Georgia on Tuesday afternoon at Fernandina Beach High School.
