Jan. 12, 2016

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's lacrosse is set to host its annual free youth clinic Sunday, Jan. 24 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Holuba Hall. The clinic is designed to help develop youth lacrosse in Central Pennsylvania.

Led by head coach Jeff Tambroni, his staff and members of the Nittany Lion team, the clinic is open to boys ages 8-13 and is set to run from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Participants will need a signed clinic medical release form and are strongly encouraged to bring full lacrosse equipment, including a mouth guard. Forms may be submitted on the day of the clinic or emailed ahead of time to director of operations David Shriver (djs74@psu.edu) or assistant coach Chris Doctor (cdd10@psu.edu). Participants without a medial release form will not be permitted to participate.

In his sixth year at the helm of the program, Tambroni returns eight starters and 27 letterwinners from last year's Big Ten Tournament semifinal squad. The Nittany Lions are set to officially kick off the 2016 regular season at home, hosting Robert Morris Saturday, Feb. 6 at noon.
