UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.
- Penn State track & field will split time competing in two states this weekend as several athletes are set to take part in the 2016 Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas while the rest of the team will travel to Lewisburg, Pa. to run at the Bucknell Classic.

The field at the Texas Invitational is loaded with NCAA champion caliber athletes and teams. Three teams are ranked in the Top 10 on both the men's and women's side.

"We're splitting up into two directions," said head coach John Gondak.

"We've got mainly middle-distance and distance athletes going to Bucknell and the rest of the group heading down to Texas. (Texas) is a scored meet and I want to see us compete well and build
on the momentum that we picked up
last weekend in Oregon."

Fans can interact and follow the meet on twitter by using the official meet hashtag #TXinvite16.
