UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's soccer team will host two exhibition matches prior to the season-opener against West Virginia on Aug. 19, head coach Erica Dambach announced Thursday.
The Nittany Lions will host Université du Québec à Montréal (Aug. 10) and Drexel (Aug. 14) with both matches taking place at Jeffrey Field. The match against the Université du Québec à Montréal Citadins is slated for a 9 a.m. start, while the Drexel match is set for 1 p.m.
Following the exhibition match against Drexel on Aug. 14, the Nittany Lions will be hosting a youth clinic on the practice field along Park Avenue behind Jeffrey Field. Kids 12 and under are invited to attend and the clinic is free for the public.
Parents bringing their children to the clinic are asked to fill out the registration link found on the top of this page to reserve a spot. When attending the event, please bring the waiver found within the registration link, wear a uniform and bring a soccer ball.
Similar to regular season contests at Jeffrey Field, admission for both exhibition matches are free for all fans.
Fans are encouraged to park in the Stadium West lot for the women's soccer exhibition contests. The grass parking lot beside Jeffrey Field will be unavailable for the Université du Québec à Montréal match on Aug. 10. The grass lot will be open for the Drexel match, weather permitting.
