A total of 28 Penn State football alumni are populating the active rosters of 20 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions annually are among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL. Each week throughout the year, GoPSUsports.com will provide updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats.
Top performances from Week Three include wide receiver Allen Robinson, who caught a pair of touchdown passes for the Jaguars, and his teammate on the other side of the ball, linebacker Paul Posluszny, who recorded 12 tackles and an interception. Linebackers Navorro Bowman and Gerald Hodges teamed up for a forced fumble and recovery for San Francisco and defensive lineman Anthony Zettel registered a tackle in his first career action.
Adrian Amos (2011-14), FS, Chicago Bears

Amos made three tackles, including a viral video hit on Cole Beasley, and a fumble recovery, but the Cowboys prevailed over the Bears Sunday night.
Navorro Bowman (2007-09), LB, San Francisco 49ers
Seahawks 37, 49ers 18
Bowman made seven total tackles (six solo), including two TFL. Bowman helped force a fumble that was recovered by another Nittany Lion, Gerald Hodges, leading to a field goal, but it was not enough to defeat the 49ers' NFC West rivals. With 27 tackles, Bowman leads the 49ers and ranks 14th in the league.

Jack Crawford (2008-11), DE, Dallas Cowboys

Despite a shoulder injury, Crawford started against the Bears. He logged 44 out of 65 defensive snaps.
Garry Gilliam (2010-12), T, Seattle Seahawks

Gilliam started at right tackle for a third straight week. He helped pave the way for 127 yards rushing, including 106 by Christine Michael, while a pair of Seahawks passers combined for 308 passing yards.

Hackenberg was inactive for Week 3.
Tamba Hali (2002-05), LB, Kansas City Chiefs

Hali made four tackles and played on 46 snaps.

Hogan made one catch for three yards.
Gerald Hodges (2009-12), LB, San Francisco 49ers

Hodges started for the third consecutive week and made six combined tackles, one solo tackle and five assisted tackles. Hodges also made his first career fumble recovery on a fumble forced by fellow Nittany Lion alum Navorro Bowman.
