UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - A total of 31 Penn State football alumni are populating the active rosters of 20 National Football League teams. The Nittany Lions annually are among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL. Each week throughout the year, GoPSUsports.com will provide updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats.
A pair of Nittany Lions on opposing sidelines were key factors on Sunday Night Football. Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee was all over the field, making 18 tackles and recovering a fumble, but kicker Robbie Gould converted a 39-yard field goal and an extra point as the Giants defeated Dallas, 10-7. Lee was not the only Linebacker U alum to shine in Week 14, as Mike Hull earned his first career start for the Dolphins and hauled in an interception on his first series and finished tied with a team-high eight tackles. Lee and Gould were not the only Penn Staters to shine in primetime either, as on Monday night, former Nittany Lion men's lacrosse player Chris Hogan caught a 79-yard touchdown to clinch the Patriots win over the Ravens.

After sitting out last week with a foot injury, Amos returned to action against the Lions and made three tackles.

Hogan recorded five receptions for 129 yards, including a game-clinching 79-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Hogan now has 32 catches for 613 yards on the season.
Gerald Hodges (2009-12), LB, San Francisco 49ers

Hodges started for the 49ers and made nine tackles (eight solo), including one sack and another stop behind the line.
