WINTHROP, Mass. - The Penn State women's hockey team has been picked fourth in the College Hockey America (CHA) Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning. Defending CHA regular season and tournament champion Robert Morris was selected to win the league.
First-year head coach Jeff Kampersal returns 17 letterwinners and welcomes seven newcomers to the team for the 2017-18 season.
The Nittany Lions open their sixth season as a varsity program on Sept. 29-30 at No. 5 Minnesota Duluth.
