UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. ââ'¬" Penn State finished a four-day long NAC event in Kansas City earlier today.
On Friday, Nov. 10, Penn State competed in women's epee and women's saber. Sophomore Barbara VanBenthuysen (Spring, Texas) finished in 17th place in the epee event. Freshman Sara Cunningham (Decatur, Ga.) finished in 28th place in the women's saber event.
On Saturday, Nov. 11, the Nittany lions competed in the women's foil. Freshman Isabella Zuzulo (Newtown, Pa.) finished in third place and her freshman teammate, Sofia McGoff-Medero (Gurabo, Puerto Rico), placed 92nd.
Wrapping up the event for Penn State on Monday, Nov. 13, was men's foil. Sophomore Andrew Grass (Burke,Va.) and freshman Shane Iverson (Basking Ridge, N.J.) took 77th and 116th, respectively.
