Daly Posts His Second-Fastest Mark in 200 Free at U.S. Olympic Trials

OMAHA, Neb. – Penn State men's swimmer Michael Daly recorded the second-best time of his career in the 200 free with a 1:51.55 at U.S. Olympic Trials Monday morning in the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Daly's second event came just 17 hours after he took seventh in the finals of the 400 IM Sunday night.

Daly, from Pearl River, New York, competes in his third event of the U.S. Olympic Trials, the 200 backstroke, on Thursday, June 17. 
 
Nittany Lion Hayden Harlow represents Penn State in the 200 IM on Thursday with Jake Houck and Will Roberson competing in Saturday's 50 freestyle. The schedule and availability of broadcast and stream coverage is available here.
