UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State redshirt sophomore tight end Brenton Strange has been named to the 2021 John Mackey Award Watch List, it was announced on Friday by The Friends of John Mackey. The award is given annually to the most outstanding collegiate tight end.
Brenton Strange
- Has appeared in 11 career games, making five starts.
- Appeared in nine games, making five starts in 2020.
- Tallied 17 grabs for 164 yards and two touchdowns.
- Caught a career-long 28-yard touchdown reception from Sean Clifford and totaled 38 yards on three catches.
- Recorded a career-high 45 yards on three receptions against Michigan State. Illinois (12/19).
- Made a career-high four receptions for 31 yards and a seven-yard score against Illinois.
