UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State women's soccer junior Cori Dyke was called up to the U.S. Under-23 Women's Youth National Team on Thursday.
Dyke becomes the fourth Nittany Lion on the roster, joining teammates Ally Schlegel, Payton Linnehan and Kate Wiesner. Penn State now has the most players represented on the roster. Virginia is second most with three players.
Dyke has previously rostered with U.S. Women's National Team at the U-14, U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-20 levels.
In December 2018, Dyke joined the U-20 USWNT for the Nike Friendlies.
She also helped the U-19 USWNT to a first-place finish in a four-team tournament in China.
The midfielder from Littleton, Colorado started all 21 games for the Nittany Lions. PSU appeared in the program's 27thstraight NCAA tournament and fifth consecutive Sweet-16 appearance.
The U.S. U-23 WYNT will return to the Thorns Preseason Tournament where they will play three NWSL teams over seven days.
Dyke, Schlegel, Linnehan and Wiesner will have the opportunity to face Nittany Lion alums Sam Coffey and Raquel "Rocky" Rodriguez of Portland Thorns FC and Alyssa Naeher of the Chicago Red Stars.
