UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's lacrosse team wraps up their four-game road trip at No. 9 Loyola (Md.) on Saturday, March 5. First draw is scheduled for noon at Ridley Athletic Complex, and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
The Nittany Lions are 2-1, most recently defeating Cornell 20-11 last Saturday. Loyola is 3-0 on the young season having beat No. 21 Johns Hopkins, Towson and No. 24 Penn.

SERIES HISTORY
• Penn State and Loyola are tied 17-17 in the all-time series.
• The Greyhounds have won the last three contests.

• Starting goalie, Kaitlyn Larsson has a .409 save percentage. She's allowing 8.67 goals per game.
• Rosenzweig and senior Katie Detwiler are on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List for the 2022 season.
PSU STATISTICAL RANKINGS
• As a team, PSU is tied 6th in the nation with a .935 clearing percentage.
• As a team the Nittany Lions are 7th in Division I in draw control percentage (.617).
• Penn State is averaging seven assists per game, good for 14th most in the nation.
• Sophomore Kayla Abernathy is 14th in the nation with seven draw controls per game.
• Junior Kara Nealon is tied 2nd in the nation with four others by averaging three assists per contest.

• Brooke Hoss recently claimed Big Ten Freshman of the Week after combining for six goals at Duquesne and Cornell. At Duquesne, Hoss scored four goals on four shots.
• Sophomore Kristin O'Neill leads the Lions in scoring with nine goals and 10 points.

• Sophomore Kayla Abernathy has won a team best 21 draw controls.
• Dual goalkeepers Ashley Bowan and Cayden Jarvis each have seen action in all three games. Bowan has clocked 106 minutes and 12 saves, while Jarvis has played 74 minutes with eight saves.
• Assistant coach Katrina Geiger played at Loyola and was a two-time All-Patriot League second-team selection.
• PSU is on the road for their first four games before hosting James Madison on March 9.
• Senior Mary Muldoon and junior Rachel Spilker were elected captains for the 2022 season.
