HISTORY
- Cornell currently leads the series 23-22 as this will be the 46th meeting between both teams. Cornell took to the last matchup that came on March 12, 2022 in a 16-15 victory over the Nittany Lions.

- Cornell enters the match with a 4-0 overall record as they recently defeated ninth-ranked Ohio Staste 16-13 on March 4.
- Leading the way on the offensive front for the Big Red is CJ Kirst who leads the team with 20 goals and 26 points.
- In net stands Chayse Ierlan who has played and started in all four games this season. He currently tallies a save percentage of .527 and GAA of 8.93.
TRAYNOR AND MALONE LEADING THE WAY
- TJ Malone and Matt Traynor lead the team in goals with 14 as Malone leads the team in points with 22.
- Both sit tied for third in the Big Ten in goals per game averaging 2.8 goals per game.
- Matt Traynor currently leads the league in individual man-up goals with four on the year.
POSEY CAPTURES BIG TEN DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS
- Senior defenseman Jack Posey was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
- This is the senior's first Big Ten weekly award honor this season and in his career. The South Reading, Va. product tallied two goals against tenth-ranked Penn which is a single-game high for the defenseman. He also scooped two ground balls and forced one turnover in the game.
- On the year, Posey has two goals off two shots and has scooped 12 ground balls and forced four turnovers.
WINKOFF SCORING MACHINE
- Graduate student Kevin Winkoff had an impressive five goal showing against Penn in Saturday's 15-9 victory over the Quakers.
- On the year, Winkoff tallies eight goals and five assists for 13 points.
- In his career he's tallied 78 goals with 43 assists for 121 points.
BACK IN THE TOP 10
- For the first time since the 2021 season, Penn State was nationally ranked in the top 10 in Monday's Inside Lacrosse and USILA poll.
- The Nittany Lions were slotted eighth in the nation in both polls.
TAMBRONI GETS TO 100
- Penn State men's lacrosse head coach Jeff Tambroni hit 100 wins as a head coach at Penn State in Saturday's 15-9 win over Penn.
- He is just the second Penn State men's lacrosse head coach to surpass that mark.
- Previous head coach Glenn Thiel is the only other Nittany Lion lacrosse coach to surpass 100 wins at Penn State.
