UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's golf team heads to its final fall tournament of the 2023-24 season Sunday and Monday when the Nittany Lions travel to the Quail Valley Collegiate in Vero Beach, Fla.
Rounds one and two begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Sunday, while Monday's final round begins with 8:30 a.m. tee times off the first and 10th holes. The 54-hole event will be played at the par-72, 7,350-yard Quail Valley Golf Club.
The 16-team field features Cincinnati, FAU, Indiana, Kent State, Liberty, Maryland, Memphis, Michigan State, Minnesota, North Florida, Northern Illinois, Penn State, Rutgers, South Florida, Toledo, UNC-Greensboro.
Penn State faces a quick turnaround for its fall finale as the Nittany Lions wrapped up competition at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate Tuesday. Penn State finished tied for seventh in the 15-team field while Jake Griffin led the way for the Nittany Lions in a tie for seventh place. Patrick Sheehan finished tied for 12th and has now finished in the top 15 of all four of Penn State's fall tournaments thus far this season.
