UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – A total of 40 Penn State football alumni are populating the rosters of 25 National Football League organizations. The Nittany Lions annually rank among the top 20 programs nationally in producing players in the NFL.
Nick Scott posted his second ten-plus tackle game of the season on Sunday, recording 10 total stops (9 solo) in his outstanding effort. He currently ranks seventh among safeties in the NFL in total tackles. Micah Parsons picked up another tackle for loss in the Cowboys' dominant outing against the Patriots, bringing his total to six on the season.
Offensively, Chris Godwin exploded for 114 yards on eight catches in the Buccaneers' win over the Saints. Jahan Dotson scored his first touchdown of the season in the Commanders' hard-fought divisional battle with the Eagles. On special teams, Jordan Stout continued to impress as Baltimore's punter, and still ranks in the top 10 in the NFL in yards-per-punt.
Parker Washington made his NFL debut for the Jaguars in their win over the Falcons in London. The Jacksonville wideout returned one punt for five yards in his first game action.
Each week throughout the year, GoPSUSports.com provides updates on the feats of these former Nittany Lion greats.
