Fencing Concludes NAC Weekend in Richmond
Five Nittany Lions competed in USA Fencing's December NAC
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams had five fencers compete at the December North American Cup (NAC) on Friday and Saturday, ahead of the team's dual at Sacred Heart on Sunday. This month's NAC was held in Richmond, Va. from Dec. 1-4 and is one of several NAC/Olympic qualifying tournaments.
In men's foil, freshman Spencer Burke topped the Nittany Lion leaderboard as he tied with Marcello Olivares of Notre Dame for 12th place. Alessio Fukuda finished in 55th place with Donavyn Martinez in 69th place.
In sabre, Neil Lilov finished in 25th place with Kamar Skeete in 30th.
