BOSTON - Penn State women's ice hockey senior forward Brianna Brooks was named the College Hockey America (CHA) Forward of the Week as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
Brooks earns her second CHA Forward of the Week honor after she recorded four points over the weekend at Robert Morris scoring three goals and registering one assist.
She scored two of the goals in Saturday's game against the Colonials as well as adding one assist. Saturday's goals were her third multi-goal game of the year. On the year, Brooks sits second on the team in points with 31 off 14 goals and 17 assists.
Penn State returns to action on Friday, Feb. 16 when they host RIT for a two-game series. Puck-drop is set for 2 p.m.
