UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women's tennis team will open Big Ten play with two matches this weekend. The team will compete against No. 71 Michigan State at home on Friday, March 15 at 12 p.m. and No. 2 Michigan away on Sunday, March 17 at 11 a.m.

The Nittany Lions fell against UCSB, 5-2, on Saturday. Yvonne Zuffova and Karly Friedland each grabbed a point for their team.

The Michigan State women's tennis team is No. 71 in the country and is 8-5 on the season.
The Spartans have a ranked doubles pairing at No. 38 in Nicole Conard and Ayshe Can.
MAPPING OUT MICHIGAN
The Michigan women's tennis team is No. 2 in the nation. The team has five nationally ranked players. Kari Miller is No. 5, Julia Fliegner is No. 18, Gala Mesochoritou is No. 44, Lily Jones is No. 61 and Jaedan Brown is No. 81.
Miller and Brown are also a ranked doubles pair at No. 4.
