UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State men's golf team heads to South Carolina to compete in the Colleton River Collegiate Monday and Tuesday.
The 54-hole event begins with two round Monday before the final 18 holes will be played Tuesday at Colleton River Club's award-winning Nicklaus Course.
The 15-team tournament field features Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Georgia Southern, Howard, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas State, Memphis, Michigan State, Middle Tennessee, Minnesota, Missouri, Penn State, Rutgers.
The Nittany Lions will be competing in the Colleton River Collegiate for the third-straight spring. Penn State finished fifth in last season's 12-team field.
Penn State will be represented by Patrick Sheehan, Billy Pabst Jr., Jake Griffin, Jimmy Meyers and Zach Smith, while Robby O'Regan will play as an individual. The Nittany Lions opened the spring season two weeks ago at the Florida Gators Invitational. Sheehan led the way for Penn State, finishing tied for 32nd.
