UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's lacrosse redshirt-sophomore Chase Mullins was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Team of the Week on Wednesday afternoon. This is Mullin's first USILA Team of the Week honor in his career.
Mullins dominated the faceoff circle winning 15-20 faceoffs and scooping eight ground balls for the Nittany Lions in their 14-8 victory over Rutgers on Saturday. On the year, Mullins has won 93 faceoffs and has a faceoff win percentage of .522. Mullins becomes the ninth Nittany Lion this season to receive the weekly honor.
Penn State returns to action on Thursday, May 2 when they face No. 7/8 Maryland in the Big Ten tournament semifinals. Game-time is set for 8:30 p.m.
