Five Nittany Lions Named to NABC Honors Court

Andy Christos, Dan Conlan, Leo O’Boyle, Puff Johnson and Qudus Wahab honored for academic success

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Penn State men’s basketball student-athletes Andy Christos, Dan Conlan, Leo O’Boyle, Puff Johnson and Qudus Wahab have been recognized as members of the 2023-24 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, as announced by the NABC Monday afternoon.

Conlan and Christos both graduated with Penn State degrees in May 2024, with Conlan earning a master’s in real estate and Christos earning a bachelor’s in marketing. O’Boyle (counterterrorism) and Wahab (international affairs) both completed graduate coursework, while Johnson is currently pursuing a degree in African American studies.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men’s basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at their current institution.

Over 2,100 players across all levels of college basketball earned spots on the NABC Honors Court.
