Women’s Gymmastics Places School Record 17 on WCGA Scholastic All-America Team

Penn State’s 3.7707 team GPA ranks tenth overall in 2023-24

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women’s gymnastics team earned a school record 17 Scholastic All-America honors from the WCGA for the 2023-24 academic year, the organization announced Wednesday. The Nittany Lions also finished tenth in the country with a 3.7707 team GPA.

The 17 Nittany Lions honored as WCGA Scholastic All-Americans are as follows: Gabbie Gallentine, Maggie Ayers, Ashley Maul, Jessica Johanson, Elina Vihrova, Isabella Salcedo, Maddie Johnston, Cassidy Rushlow, Kalea McElligott, Natalie Cross, Sarah Duhe, Alyssa Kramer, Maggie Mace, Olivia Yarussi, Ava Piedrahita, Grace Harrell, and Nikki Beckwith.

Student-athletes earn Scholastic All-America status from the WCGA for maintaining a cumulative 3.5-or-better GPA, or by earning a 3.5-or-better GPA during the 2023-24 academic year.
