UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State Women’s Tennis concluded the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, North Carolina on Sept. 24.
Olivia Dorner took home two singles wins in the prequalifying stage. She defeated Seattle’s Lamija Avdic (6-1, 6-0) and Illinois’ McKenna Schaefbauer (6-4, 6-1) without dropping a set in either match.
Dorner teamed up with Maiko Uchijima, as the nation's No. 49 doubles duo, for a victory over Arkansas’ No. 51 Anet Koskel and Grace O’Donnell (6-1, 7-5) in the consolation round of qualifying doubles.
The team’s next fall tournament is the WVU Martha Thorn Invitational. Play will begin on Oct. 4 in Morgantown, West Virginia.
