CHICAGO– The Big Ten named Penn State men’s lacrosse freshman midfielder Hunter Aquino its Freshman of the Week on Tuesday afternoon. This is Aquino’s first weekly award for his career.
Aquino tallied his first career hat-trick and five-point game after scoring three goals and posting two assists against Princeton on Saturday. The Easton, Pa. native has tallied at least multiple points in each game this season and has recorded multiple goals in two of the three games played. He sits second on the team in points with nine on six goals and three assists.
Penn State returns to action on Saturday, February 22, when they host Navy. The game begins at 1 p.m.
