UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Women’s Tennis (3-1) hosts three matches this weekend. On Saturday, Feb. 8, the Nittany Lions take on St. Bonaventure (1-5) at 10 a.m. and Niagara (1-5) at 5 p.m. The weekend will conclude against Mount St. Mary’s (1-2) at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9.

- Penn State fell to Yale, 5-2, on Sunday, Feb. 2.
- On doubles court one, No. 77 Olivia Dorner and Maiko Uchijima defeated Erin Ha and Orly Ogilvy, 6-2, to maintain their undefeated record this spring.
- Sophomore Jordina Cegarra and freshman Patricia Grigoras earned their third win of the spring on court two over Mirabelle Brettkelly and Shyla Aggarwal, 6-3.
- Dorner took a court one singles victory against Brettkelly, 6-0, 6-3.
Scouting Report
St. Bonaventure
- The Bonnies enter with a record of 1-5, their lone win coming against Niagara in a 7-0 decision during the fall season.
- St. Bonaventure is coming off a 4-0 loss to Uconn on Feb. 2.
Niagara
- The Purple Eagles are 1-5 overall with three straight defeats to open the spring season.
- Niagara earned a win against in the fall Division II Daemen University, 6-1, in the fall. The team fell to Division II IUP, 5-2, on Feb. 2.
Mount St. Mary’s
- The Mountaineers lost both of their spring matches to George Washington, 4-0, and Georgetown, 6-1, after picking up a win in the fall against Division II Chestnut Hill, 6-1.
Series History
St. Bonaventure
- Penn State leads the series with the Bonnies, 3-0, with the last match coming in the spring of 2016, a 7-0 win for the Nittany Lions.
Niagara
- Saturday’s match will be the first meeting between Penn State and Niagara.
Mount St. Mary’s
- Sunday’s match will be the first meeting between Penn State and Mount St. Mary’s.
