COLUMBUS, Ohio- The No. 60 Penn State Men’s Tennis team is slated to begin its Big Ten conference play. The 11-2 Nittany Lions will travel to Columbus, Ohio, to face No. 3 Ohio State. The match is set to begin at noon and will be held at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center.

Penn State currently holds an 11-2 record on the season and comes in at No. 60 on the ITA rankings. The Blue and White, led by Graduate Students Sam Bossem, Loren Byers and Charl Morgan, hold a young squad, as freshmen David Lindsay, Reiya Hattori and Marcus Schoeman fill the roster. The squad has stepped up to claim important wins for Penn State.
EYEING THE BUCKEYES
No. 3 Ohio State welcomes the Nittany Lions to Columbus, Ohio, with an 11-2 record. Coming off a 4-0 win in a Big Ten match against No. 16 Illinois, the Buckeyes hold a squad of multiple ranked players on their roster. This will be the first meeting between Ohio State and Penn State since the 2024 Big Ten Tournament hosted by Northwestern. The match resulted in a 4-0 win for the Buckeyes.
UP NEXT
Following the match at Ohio State, the squad will travel to the West Coast to take on new Big Ten members, Washington and Oregon. The Blue and White will face Washington on Friday, Mar. 14 at 8 p.m. ET in Seattle, Wash., and then Oregon on Sunday, Mar. 16 at noon ET in Eugene, Ore.
