UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State women’s ice hockey graduate forward Tiffany Hill inked a professional contract with Djurgårdens IF of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) on Friday morning.
Djurgårdens IF, located in Stockholm, Sweden, finished fifth in the SDHL a season ago, falling in the quarterfinals of the league’s postseason.
Hill played her graduate season for the Nittany Lions, totaling 11 points on a career-high 10 assists and one goal. Additionally, the Dartmouth, Nova Scotia native set new career bests in shots (79) and plus/minus (+9).
Hill played a key role for Penn State as the team would win its third consecutive AHA Championship. She tallied two-assist outings against Union, Stonehill and RIT in the AHA Tournament Semifinals.
Before joining the Blue & White, Hill played three seasons at Dartmouth. As a member of the Big Green, Hill recorded 25 points off 15 goals and 10 assists. She earned ECAC Hockey All-Academic Honors four times and served as an assistant captain during her senior season.
