UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State swim and dive teams are set to kick off their 2025-26 season with the annual Blue and White Meet in McCoy Natatorium this Friday, Sept. 26, at 3:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to park at the East Deck.
The scrimmage will mark the beginning of Head Coach Hollie Bonewit-Cron’s second season leading the Nittany Lions, coming off a successful 2024-25 campaign. The meet offers fans a glimpse of returners and new faces before the official season start.
On the men’s side, senior Matthew Bittner returns, who last season set a school record in the 200 IM (1:43.78). Alex Karahlis, who also set a school record in the 200 Butterfly (1:43.47), returns for his junior season. Senior Eduardo Cisternas, who captured a team-high nine individual titles, will also be returning. Senior diver Hayden Elliot, who won two individual event titles last season, will return as well.
For the women, senior Catherine Meisner, who captured a team-leading seven individual event titles last season, will be returning for the women’s team. In diving, sophomore Grace Brammer will be returning following a successful freshman season where she won three event titles. Junior Morgan Moore will also be returning after capturing six individual titles last season.
