PRINCETON, N.J. – The Penn State men’s cross country team had a strong showing at the Princeton Fall Classic, finishing fourth among 31 teams competing.
Nick Sloff finished first among the Nittany Lions, finishing 18th overall with a time of 23:28.6. Brian DiCola came next at 29 overall with a time of 23:43.3. Justin Healey ran a PR (24:01.6) to finish 45th overall and third on PSU. Caiden Leen (24:03.3 PR, 47th) and Brendan Flynn (24:13.1, 66th) rounded out the top five for Penn State.
Penn State improved upon its result at last year’s Princeton Fall Classic, where they finished 8th. The top three this season were made up of the hosts Princeton (55 pts), Oklahoma (68 pts) and Boise State (138 pts).

Penn State will take a week off before traveling to East Lansing, Mich. to compete at the Big Ten Championships hosted by Michigan State on Oct. 31.
