VERO BEACH, Fla. – The Penn State men’s golf team concludes the fall portion of its 2025-26 schedule at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate hosted by the University of South Florida this week at Quail Valley Golf & River Club on Sunday and Monday.
SETTING THE STAGE
- This week’s tournament features a 84-player field compiled of 16 teams and four individuals as the Nittany Lions and host Bulls are joined by Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Indiana, Liberty, Marquette, Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Rutgers, Kansas, Maryland, Memphis, Minnesota, UNC-Greensboro, and North Florida.
- The Par-72, 7,401-yard Quail Valley Golf Course was designed by Tommy Fazio and Nick Price and opened in 2002. It features multiple elevations and has played host to a number of USGA and FSGA Championships along with hosting the annual college event.
- Sunday will feature 36 holes of continuous play following an 8 a.m. shotgun start with Monday’s final round featuring an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

THE TEAM
- Junior Alex Creamean leads the way with four-straight top-20 finishes to open the season including his best finish as a Nittany Lion earlier this week at the Moraine Intercollegiate where he tied for second at 7-under, 206.
- Freshman Jackson Saroney and senior Andres Barraza also remain in the lineup this week along with junior Robby O’Regan making his second-straight start while classmate Tim Peters slots back into the lineup to close out the fall campaign.
- Creamean leads the team with a 69.82 stroke average as eight of his 11 rounds played have been in red figures. O’Regan is averaging a 71 per 18 holes in his limited action while Saroney is just above par with a 72.09 stroke average and seven rounds in red figures.
- As a team Penn State is averaging just above even par per 18 holes at 287.27 and have fired even par or better in five of its last seven team rounds.
