Women's Swimming and Diving Competes in Day 1 of Big Ten Championships

Nittany Lions compete in relay events

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Penn State Women's Swimming and Diving team has completed day one of four at the Big Ten Championships at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn. 

The two events on Wednesday were the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay. The 200 medley relay team of Margaret Markvardt, Audrey Cohen, Cyrah Robinson and Katie Ketter swam a 1:37.91, good for 10th place, while the 800 free relay team of Catherine Meisner, Morgan Moore, Julia Meisner, and Julia Barto swam a 7:16.93, placing 13th.
