Lutz is one of our team captains and is someone you can always count on to give 100 percent. He has been a pleasure to coach over the last five years.'

ON CHOOSING PENN STATE: 'I chose Penn State because it was a second home to me throughout my childhood. I have family in the State College area and always came up for a week or two during the summer and winter holidays, plus many of the football games during the fall. It's a good school that is strong in my undergraduate major. I felt very comfortable here and was confident that, even if I changed direction once or twice, opportunities would be there as long as I stuck with Penn State.'
