HIGH SCHOOL / PERSONAL: Native of San Jose, Calif...  Member of Silicon Valley Fencing Center since the age of seven with father Oleksii Muruhin as head coach, graduate of Branham High School...Placed in the top 16 fencers at the Junior Men’s Foil 2023 Summer Nationals... Top 32 at the Junior Men’s foil December 2022 NAC and April 2023 NAC. Son of Oleksii, member of the Ukrainian National Fencing Team for over 25 years and Yuliya Muruhin of the Ukrainian Military Fencing Squad. Plans to major in Computer Science at Penn State and pursue a career in software engineering.
