2025 / SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 17 games, starting in 17 games… Ended the season with 70 saves and 40 goals against with a .640 save percentage. Delaware (9/5/2025): Had six saves with 2 goals against in 3-2 home win. Michigan State (9/26/2025): Had two saves and allowed no goals in 2-0 home win. Syracuse (9/28/2025): Allowed three goals against eight shots. Michigan (10/3/2025): Allowed two goals against six shots against the Wolverines. Northwestern (10/10/2025): Had 10 saves with only four goals against. Iowa (10/17/2025): Allowed no goals against five shots in 1-0 home win. Indiana (10/19/2025): Had seven saves with three goals allowed.
2024 / FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in and started 12 of Penn State’s 17 games last year. Ended season with 68 saves and 35 goals against with a .660 save percentage as a true freshman. Earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors twice and earned a spot on USA Field Hockey’s U21 team. Virginia (8/30/24): Made collegiate debut in home game against Cavaliers, allowing two goals against 11 shots. Delaware (9/8/24): Picked up first collegiate win in 5-4 road victory over the Blue Hens. Princeton (9/15/24): Garnered first ranked win in the cage with seven saves in a 3-2 victory over the Tigers. Bucknell (9/22/24): Had six saves in 2-1 overtime victory at Bucknell. Indiana (9/27/24): Notched first Big Ten victory with three saves in a 3-2 win over IU. Lafayette (9/29/24): Picked up six saves in 5-1 win.

PERSONAL: Deverka, from Houston, Deverka, was a member of the U18 Women’s National Team and the U16 Junior National Team. She was an NFHCA high school second team All-American and All-Midwest Team honoree. Deverka was a MAX Field Hockey first team All-Region pick. She is the daughter of Stephanie and Mark Deverka (a Penn State alum).
