- Brazil Swimming Trophy (2022): Earned two appearances in championship finals, placing sixth in both the 50 (23.77) and 100 (52.78) Fly.
- Jr Pan Am (2021): Helped team Brazil to a gold medal in teh 4x100 Freestyle Relay (3:17.14).
2021-22 (Freshman Year):
- 2022 NCAAs (3/23-26): Placed 17th in the 100 Fly (45.18) and 21st in the 200 Medley Relay (1:23.85), breaking Nittany Lion records in both events.
- Big Ten Championships (2/23-26): Swam to third in the 50 Free (19.18), eighth in the 100 Free (42.73) and fifth in the 100 Fly (45.19). Contributed to the record-setting 200 (1:24.57) and 400 (3:06.36) Medley Relays.
- NC State Invitational (11/18-20): Finished fourth in the 50 Free (19.28), fifth in the 100 Fly (45.92) and ninth in the 100 Free (42.89).
- Bloomsburg (11/6): Touched first in the 200 Fly (1:52.44).
- Ohio State/Virginia Tech/Indiana (10/29-30): Finished fifth in the 100 Fly (47.26).
- Navy (10/9): Led the Nittany Lions in sweeping the sprint freestyle events, winning the 50 (19.99) and 100 (44.50).
2022-23 (Sophomore Year):
- Boston College/Navy (10/8): Won the 100 Fly (47.64) and 50 Free (20.00). Swam on the winning 200 Medley Relay team (1:28.81).
- (10/19): Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week.
- Pittsburgh/Notre Dame (10/21-22): Touched second in the 100 Free (44.34), and later won the 50 Free (20.03) by 0.06. Contributed to a third place finish in the 400 Free (2:59.96)
- West Virginia (11/5): Won the 50 Free (19.89), and beat his competition in the 100 Fly (47.12) by over two seconds. Earned a pair of relay wins in the 200 Medley Relay (1:29.52) and the 400 Free Relay (3:00.10).
- NC State Invite (11/17-19): Touched fourth and took an NCAA B Cut finish in the 50 Free (19.38), then later contributed to a fourth place finish in the 200 Free Relay (1:18.63). Trialed the men's 100 Fly (45.22) on the second day of competition, just 0.1 seconds from his personal school record and clinched an NCAA B Cut for the men's 100 Fly and 50 Free. Closed this invitational with another NCAA B Cut from a fifth place finish in the 100 Free (42.71) and a sixth place finish in the 400 Free Relay (2:55.62).
- Army (1/13): Took a pair of NCAA B Cuts for the 50 Free after finishing first at 19.70, and in the 100 Free at 43.08. Helped create a new pool record and a first place finish for the 200 Medley Relay at 1:26.88.
- Virginia Tech (1/21): Took batches of NCAA B Cuts and podium finishes in the 100 Fly (46.40) and the 50 Free (19.79). Joined the second place podium finish in the 400 Medley Relay (3:10.98), and later hopped on the first place podium for the 200 Free Relay (1:19.49)
- Villanova (1/27): Won the 100 Free at 44.37. Took the 200 Medley Relay at 1:28.45 for another first place finish.
- Big Ten Championships (2/22-25): Eighth place finisher in the 200 Medley Relay (1:25.89), taking 44 points home on the first day for the Nittany Lions. Swam for sixth place on day two in the 50 Free A-Final at 19.33, and later scoring fifth in the 400 Medley Relay at 3:07.75 for 50 points on the board. Landed fourth in the 100 Fly at 45.48 for an NCAA B Cut. On the final day of competition, Baganha swam the 100 Free for record finishes; his preliminary finish (42.75) jumped to third fastest in program history. Later, Baganha swam the A-final for the 100 Free at 42.91 for seventh overall, qualifying him once again for an NCAA B-Cut and recording the fifth fastest time in program history for the 100 Free.
- NCAA Championships (3/23-25): Swam 19th overall in the 50 Free (19.10) for a personal best race and third fastest for this event in program history. Finished ninth overall in the prelims for the 100 Fly (44.75) to set a new program record for this race. In the 100 Fly finals, Baganha touched 13th at 45.04 for another record race, claiming second fastest in program history for the 100 Fly. Baganha's 100 Fly earned him All-American status in the consolation heat. Concluded the championship with a 26th place finish in the 100 Free (42.39), setting a new personal best and a program record at second-fastest in history.
2023-24 (Junior Year):
- St. Bonaventure (9/30): Helped the 200 Medley relay team to a first place finish with a time of 1:27.62, as well as the victorious 400 Free relay who posted a time of 3:02.83. Earned first place in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 47.33, as well as first place in the 50 Free
- Navy (10/7): Won the 50 Free with a time of 19.80, as well as the 100 Butterfly with a time of 47.30. Was a member of the men's 400 Free relay that posted a 2:57.58 and took first, as well as the victorious 200 Medley relay which recorded a 1:27.40 time.
- West Virginia (10/13): Went undefeated in all three events, recording a win with the 400 Medley relay team, posting a time of 3:14.55. Tallied another victory in the 50 Free with a 20.02. Placed first in the 100 Free at 44:02 seconds.
- Big AL Invitational (12/1-3): Helped the 200 Free relay to a victory, with a finals time of 1:18.00. Recorded a first place finish in the 50 Free finals at 19.39 seconds. Finished first in the 400 Medley relay finals with a time of 3:08.67. Took another victory in the 100 Butterfly with a finals time of 45.37. Came in first in the 100 Free finals with a 42.75 finish. Recorded another first place finish in the 400 Free medley with a time of 2:53.30, the fourth-best time in program history.
- Army (1/12): Helped the 200 Medley relay team to a first place finish with a 1:28.67 time. Earned a first place finish in the 50 Free with a 20.14 time. Tallied another victory in the 100 Butterfly with a 47.91 finish. Added another victory in the 200 Free relay with a 1:21.13 time.
- Virginia Tech/Princeton (1/20): Finished second in the 50 yard Free with a time of 19.81. Posted another second place finish in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 46.76. Was a member of the men's 200 Medley relay team that came in second with a 1:25.94 time. Finished third with the men's 400 freestyle relay that recorded a time of 2:58.08.
- Villanova (2/2): Finished first in the 200 Free with a time of 1:39.27. Took first in the 100 Free with a time of 45.42 seconds. Recorded a first place finish with the 200 Free relay with a time of 1:20.93, as well as a win in the 400 Medley relay with a 3:14.99 time.
- 2024 BIG TEN Championship (2/28-3/2): Recorded a new school record and NCAA A Cut time to finish second in the 200 Medley relay with a time of 1:22.93. Recorded a third-place finish in the 50 Free with a time of 19.37, and another third-place finish in the men's 400 Medley relay with a time of 3:05.06, good for an NCAA B cut.
2024/25 (Senior):
- Navy (10/4): Touched second in the 100 Fly with a 49.19 finish. Contributed to a second place finish with the 200 Medley relay team.
- Pitt (10/25-26): Added a second place finish in the 100 Fly with a 48.68. Helped the 200 Free relay team to a second place finish, and contributed to third place finishes in the 400 Medley and 200 Medley relays.
High School
Baganha was a standout swimmer for his club Minas Tenis Clube in Brazil before coming to Happy Valley.
