Season: Played in 68 sets over 25 matches, including four as a starter...FInished with 68 kills, 45 digs, 11 blocks, and four aces...Tallied a season-high 12 kills in addition to four digs in a 3-1 win over FDU (2/10).
Central State (1/4): Contributed six kills and one ace while playing two sets of a sweep. vs. UCLA (1/20): Hit .400 with nine kills in a three-set match. FDU (2/10): Made first career start and finished with a season-high 12 kills in a four-set win. at No. 2 Long Beach State (3/1): Tallied a season-high seven digs in addition to three kills while playing three sets of a four-set match. at Charleston (4/5): Hit .400 with nine kills and five digs in a 3-1 win.
2023 • REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON
Awards: Received the NCAA Elite 90 Award as the player with the highest GPA among the teams that participated in the National Collegiate Tournament...Earned the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award...Made Academic All-Big Ten and EIVA All-Academic Team.
Season: Played in 39 sets over 18 matches...Hit .257 while totaling 17 kills, five aces, seven digs and five blocks...Season-high of seven kills came while playing in two sets in a season-opening win over Central State (1/6).
vs. Central State (1/6): Totaled season-high seven kills while playing two sets of a 3-1 win. Merrimack (1/14): Contributed four kills and two blocks.
2022 • REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON

BEFORE PENN STATE
Selected team captain and team MVP junior season (2019) as an outside hitter at Hempfield Area High School…Named second team All-WPIAL twice (2018-19)…Tabbed first team all section twice (2018 and 2019) and second team all-section once (2017)… Senior season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic…Played club volleyball with the Steel City Volleyball Club…Was a member of National Honors Society.
PERSONAL
Parents are Kathy Wotus and Jim Kuhns…Has two sisters, Gabby and Sadie…Mother, Kathy, was a volleyball player at Gannon University 1989-1992 and was elected to the university’s Hall of Fame in 2011…Earned a bachelor's degree in nutrition and is now pursuing a master's degree in nutritional sciences.
