Season: Competed in two heptathlons…Finished tenth in the Big Ten in the heptathlon, her first appearance at the conference championships.
Hurricane Alumni Invitational (4/5-6): In her first collegiate heptathlon, set her benchmark with 4,591 points…Including PRs in the 800m (2:27.48), long jump (17-1.5, 5.22m), 200m (27.45), and 100mH (14.91)…Continued to perform well in the multi shot put, finishing fifth overall with a 39-3 (11.96m) toss. Big Ten Outdoor Championships (5/10-12): Scored 4,580 points in her tenth-place finish in the heptathlon at her first Big Ten Championship meet…Finished second overall in the conference among multi-event athletes in the shot put with an impressive 41-8 (12.70m) throw…Added a 5-3 (1.60m) PR in the high jump…Placed eighth among multis in the 100mH (14.70), 10th in the 800m (2:32.77), javelin throw (89-0, 27.13m), and long jump (16-5.25, 5.01m), and 13th in the 200m (28.24).

Season: Competed in one meet, completing one pentathlon in her first indoor competition.
Bison Opener (12/1-2/2023): Recorded a 3,397-point PR in the pentathlon…Set her 60-meter hurdle PR with a 9.28…Won the pentathlon shot put with a 38-11 (11.86m) throw.

Attended Commack High School where she competed in the multi-events…2022 New Balance Pentathlon National Champion…Earned All-American and All-State honors during her high school tenure…Was president of her high school class at Commack where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class.

Daughter of Kevin and Margaret Spalding…Has two siblings: Ryan (brother) and Samantha (sister)…Majoring in finance…Enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family…Chose Penn State because she “…met people who made Penn State feel like home.”
