LSU Lloyd Willis Invitational (4/8): In his first outdoor meet at Penn State, clocked a 48.18 for ninth in the 400…Also helped his 4x400 group post a 3:08.85 to finish second. Bison Outdoor Classic (4/14-16): Finished fourth in the 400 with a 47.83. Penn Relays (4/27-29): Ran the 4x400, setting the fifth-fastest time in the event in school history with a 3:06.17. Jim Thorpe Invitational (5/5): Ran a personal-best 47.03 for a win in the 400. Big Ten Outdoor Championships (5/12-14): Finished third in the conference in the 4x400, going 3:06.91…Came in tenth in the 400 with a 47.52. NCAA East Prelims (5/25-27): The 4x400 group finished 10th in the region, qualifying for the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row, Gallant’s first with the team. NCAA Outdoor Championships (6/7-10): Placed 20th in the nation in the 4x400 in his first collegiate season, helping the team of Savion Hebron, Callum Dodds, and James Onwuka go 3:06.57 at the championships in Texas.
