Technique Camp, June 24-27
Grades 6-12

The Technique Camp will concentrate on instruction, drilling, and live wrestling for beginning to advanced wrestlers in grades 6-12.

It will include techniques and drills from the feet, top and bottom positions. Instruction will cover hand fighting, multiple setups, counters, strategy, and an array of high-percentage scoring techniques from the feet. The camp will explore the most effective ways to ride, turn and pin or technical fall a good opponent. Emphasis will be placed on leg riding, controlling wrists, arm bars, tilts, breakdowns, cradles and winning 30-second ride-outs from the mat. This camp will also focus on escapes and reversals to make you a well-rounded wrestler. Camp will conclude with an individual takedown tournament if so desired.

Wrestling Team Camp, June 28-July 1
Grades 7-12

The Team Camp will give wrestlers in grades 7-12 a balance of intense competition and outstanding instruction in each session, while also providing a unique bonding experience between the wrestlers and staff members of both levels.

We have set up the team camp to enable schools to bring together both junior high and senior high staff members to enhance their camp experience and bring unity to their program; junior high teams will compete against other junior high teams when it is possible. In previous years, coaches have embraced our flexibility and arranged to have their ninth graders wrestle on either the junior high and/or senior high team to create the best match. An individual takedown tournament will conclude the camp.

Note: Teams must bring a minimum of 12 wrestlers. If you are bringing more than one team, register each team online.
