Ball St., Towson, WVU (3/1): Set her career high with a 9.8 on beam…Made her collegiate floor debut with a solid 9.775. at Southern Utah (3/8): Posted a 9.8 on floor and a 9.725 on beam at Southern Utah. at NC State w/Penn, Texas Woman’s (3/10): Continued her improvement with a career-best 9.875 on floor as the Nittany Lions posted a 197.000 on the road at NC State in their second meet of the weekend. at George Washington w/Rutgers, Towson (3/17): Went 9.825 on floor in the regular season finale. Big Ten Championships (3/23): In her postseason debut, scored a 9.7 on beam and a 9.75 on floor. Regional Second Round (4/4): Posted a season-best 9.825 on beam in her first NCAA competition. Regional Final (4/6): Went 9.825 on beam for the second meet in a row, concluding her freshman season with a solid outing.
GYMNASTICS BACKGROUND
Maul competed under coaches Laurent and Cecile Landi at World Champions Centre. In 2022, she was a national qualifier and finished 9th place on beam and 20th in the all-around. In the Region 3 Championships, she finished first place on beam, second on floor, and third all-around. Maul was the 2021 Texas State Champion in beam, floor, and all-around, with a second-place finish in the vault.

Daughter of Roger and Lisa Maul…Has one sister, Taylor…Attended high school in Texas at the Texas Connections Academy at Houston where she graduated in the top one percent of her class and was a National Honor Society member…Enjoys listening to music, hiking, and hanging out with her friends in her free time…Enrolled in the pre-medicine program at Penn State…Chose Penn State because “Penn State’s atmosphere and balance make it very well-rounded, and the gymnastics staff and team are incredibly supportive and welcoming.
